Display name: Medico-statistical survey
Description: The Greek Medico-statistical tables of 1838-1841 reflect the physical and sanitary conditions in the newly established state of Greece. The tables include data on population, agriculture, schools, medical personnel, diseases and climate and were compiled by state-appointed physicians. The project aims to record, map and visualise the data and explore new ways of examining spatial information on the country's early days.
